What is LASIK?
LASIK, commonly referred to as laser eye surgery or laser vision correction, is a type of refractive surgery for the correction of myopia, hyperopia, and an actual cure for astigmatism since it is in the cornea. Laser-assisted in situ keratomileuses (LASIK) can be an alternative to glasses or contact lenses. During LASIK surgery, a special type of laser is used to precisely change the shape of the dome-shaped clear tissue at the front of your eye (cornea) to improve vision.
Do I qualify for LASIK?
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a stable vision prescription for at least one year
- Must be free of eye disease or other interfering vision conditions
- Must have a proper corneal thickness
- Good overall health
- Realistic expectations
- Full understanding of the potential risks
How do I win?
The first 25 participants who go to Dakota Eye Institute and complete a LASIK Screening will be entered to win the FREE LASIK procedure and receive (2) tickets to the August 1st Larks game. Participants will randomly be selected to compete in an on field game to win the procedure. All other participants will receive $200 off a LASIK procedure.
